Hi, I'm Allison, the artist behind Aurora Currents.

I discovered art and quickly fell in love with the movement of the paint, the vibrancy of the colors, and the fact that no two paintings can ever be exactly alike.

I create my artwork by hand in Flagstaff, Arizona, experimenting with different pouring techniques, color combinations, and finishes. I love watching the colors interact and allowing the paint to move in unexpected ways. There is always an element of surprise, and that is one of my favorite parts of creating. 

My work is inspired by color, movement, and the beauty that can come from letting go of complete control. Each painting is an original, one-of-a-kind piece created with its own personality and energy.

Aurora Currents is about experimentation, movement, vibrant color, and most of all, the joy of creating something beautiful.
